In this post, I am going to share some very useful information about PTC sites with you. Before sign up to any PTC site, you must have some knowledge


about them. Remember that all PTC sites are not legit and real. In the world of Internet, there are many scam PTC sites that do not pay to their members. They just gain clicks from their members and after making enough money they close their websites. But there are many PTC sites that are established for many years and they pay to their members regularly and must have a good reputation. Let us know a little about PTC sites.

A PTC (Paid to click) is a website that pays to his registered members for clicking the ads they provide and and view for some time (5-30 seconds) on a daily basis.

How to find legit and trusted PTC sites?

This is the most difficult task. Most of the users get it wrong when they enter in to PTC industry.
I too am one of those, when i started joining PTC sites, I started the at those sites with high click rates and failed almost every time. Also I had lost my earnings when those sites closed down.

You have to keep these points in your mind while searching for best paying PTC sites.

1.  PTC sites with high click rates (over $0.1) lasts only for few months or even days and proved to be a scam. So never join those websites who offered $0.1/click or more. Some scam PTC sites like 2 dollar click offers $2/click! They simply make the people fool. Just imagine how any one can pay you $2 per click when he take $0.01 from his advertiser?

2. Always choose those PTC sites who offer the average click rate of $0.001. Established and legit PTC sites always offer a low click rate and relatively less ads per day to visit while scam PTC sites offer high click rates with many ads per day.

3. Always choose those PTC sites which are well established and at least 1.5 to 2 years old.

4. Be careful with PTC sites on free hosting. If the owner can't afford a site, how can he pay you?

5. Try to be away from buxhost site. (Buxhost.com is a service which rents PTC sites to anyone who wants to run a PTC sites, due to this reason, anyone can own and run a PTC site. So usually Unprofessional owners who don’t know how to get their own PTC site use them, that’s why it is better to stay away from them. But there is an exception. Almost 95% of the buxhost sites are scam but the remaining 5% are legit and are paying to their members. I personally know two buxhost sites which are paying to their customers without any issue. These two websites are:

b. Probux

What are Referrals?

You can also generae revenue for the clicks of your referrals. Referrals are the people you invited (called direct referrals) and signed up under your referral link or people already authorized on the website which the website leases (give you on rent) to you for 30 days or more for a sum of cash you will pay (called rented referrals). Every website has its own policy regarding referrals, so you should check that on their terms of the specific segments.

There are two types of Referrals.

a. Rented Referrals

b. Direct Referrals

Rented Referrals

Rented referrals are those referrals which you rent from that website. You have to pay some rent on monthly basis for each rented referrals (Not more than $0.005-0.006/referral).

Direct Referrals

Direct referrals are those referrals which you recruited by advertising your referral link or banners (Your referral link and banners are provided by the website on which you work). These referrals are your personal referrals for life time. You don’t need to pay anything to the website for direct referrals. You can advertise your referral link on social media websites. Free classified ad websites, Traffic exchange websites, paid advertising or making your own personal website or blog through which you can advertise your referral link.

Secrets of earning a handsome income from a PTC website

Well, that is the main question that arises in the mind of every person who wants to join PTC sites.

It is difficult to provide an exact amount; your income will be established by your capability to simply click on the available links regularly and your capability to encourage other people to be a part of the PTC site under you (referrals).

You will not generate $10 per day alone on your first day. Most PTC sites offer 1 cent per click and have 5 to 30 or more ads on a daily basis.

Following are some key points which you should kept in mind in order to earn a handsome income from any PTC site.

a. You cannot earn a good income by joining 1 or 2 PTC sites. Daily average income from 1 website is about $0.03 without any referrals. With 10 referrals, your income with one PTC website is about $0.3 per day. So this is not enough income in these days of inflation.

b. In order to earn a handsome income which fulfills your basic needs to some extent, you have to sign up to at least 10 PTC websites. Each website takes your 20 minutes to completely visit all their websites. Some take 10 to 15 minutes depending on your internet connection. You need maximum of 3 hours daily work on 10 PTC websites. I think this is not a bad deal. With 10 referrals for each PTC website you can earn about $70 to $90 per month and this is not the endpoint. This calculation is an approximation and only for 10 referrals. If you have 20 referrals for each of your PTC website, you can earn about $150 to $170 dollars per month and this is still not the end point.  As the number of referrals increases, your income also increases.

c. Referrals are very important for your income generation. Without referrals, your dream of earning a good income remains a dream. You should have referrals (Direct or Rented) in order to increase your income. There is a limit of referrals your PTC site allows you. This limit is different for different PTC sites. For a free membership plan, you are allowed to have 50 to 150 direct or rented referrals.

d. Always click on the ads just after when they reset. In this way you got more ads to click and will be able to earn more money. Actually the PTC sites refresh/reset their ads after every 24 hours. Set the refresh time when you want to work e.g. if you set the ad reset time at 6:00 p.m, then you got new ads at 6:00 p.m every day. So if you set 6:00 p.m as the reset time for the ads, try to login between 6 to 9 p.m because more ads will be available at that time.

e. The last but not the least secret, is the “consistency and patience”. PTC program is not a “getting rich quick program” and in fact there is no getting rich quick program/Job on internet. If any company or a person offers this type of program, it is surely a scam. Every Job or Business takes some time to establish and take time to generate a handsome income. So be consistent until you have some referrals under you.

Which is the best? Direct referrals or rented referral?

Now that is an interesting question. In my opinion and experience, direct referrals are best.

Reason:

You don’t have to pay anything for direct referrals. You just need to advertise your referral link on social media, classified ad sites, blogs, forums, or by making your own blog or website for advertising purposes etc. (I will tell you the effective advertising methods in next lines). Direct referrals are your forever and they have more potential of working as compared to rented referrals because these referrals are motivated by you and they want to do work that is why they sign up under your referral link with their own wish and will.

In most of the cases, and in my experience, rented referrals are inactive. In many PTC sites, the rented referrals are not real but bots which are created by the PTC site itself. You spend money on them but they don’t work for you. Only 20% of the rented referrals are active. So in my opinion direct referrals are best choice. You can buy rented referrals, but on your own risk because the PTC website does not take any responsibility for their inactivity.

One thing to remember is that it can take some time to get 20 active referrals. People start clicking and then stop. Sometimes it is right away and sometimes it takes days, weeks, or months. My general rule is that 20-25% of my total referrals for any PTC site stay active. That means I need to get 100 total referrals in order to get 20 of them active every day. If you have a steady flow of referrals, it is not hard to maintain 20 or even 200 or more active referrals. It’s a number game and you have to keep bringing in the referrals to keep your pool of actives at a level that makes you the most money you can make.

Boost your earning by upgrading account (Optional)

All PTC sites offer “Premium” memberships. These memberships give you access to increase the click rate and lowers the payout (money is quicker in your pockets), premium membership also increase the click rate of your referral. They also increase the limit of referrals you can own. You will always be the champion in the LONG TERM if you purchase the premium membership.

When to upgrade?

That is very important question. Upgrade requires some money. You have to pay $20-$40 for one year up-gradation plan. Different PTC websites have different rates. Upgrade only when you can earn more during the upgrade period than you have to pay for the upgrade and when you have at least 20 active referrals. Calculation is necessary before you plan to upgrade. Let me give you a sample calculation:

Free membership:

Your Click rate = $0.001/click

Referral click rate = $0.005/click

With 10 referrals (4 referrals clicks are allowed daily)

Your clicks = 0.001 x 20 ads = $0.02

Your referral clicks = 0.005 x 4 x 10 = $0.2

Daily income with 1 PTC site = 0.2 + 0.02 = $0.22

Upgraded membership:

Upgrade fee = $30/year, means $2.5/month.

Your Click rate = $0.004

Your referrals click rate = $0.009

Your clicks = 0.004 x 30 ads (There are more ads in upgraded membership) = $0.12

Your referrals clicks = 0.009 x 4 x 10 = $0.36

Total daily income with 1 PTC = 0.36 + 0.12 = $0.48

Monthly income = 0.48 x 23 (I take 23 working days in a month) = $11.04 – $2.5 = $8.54 (So you got profit)

But with 1 referral as an upgraded membership:

0.009 x 4 x 1 = $0.036

Your daily income = 0.036 + 0.12 = $ 0.156

Monthly income = 0.156 x 23 = $3.58 – $2.5 = $1.08 (You got only $1.08 profit)

If you have 50 to 100 referrals with free membership, you can earn a massive income and you have not need to upgrade.

Boost your earnings by completing offers and mini jobs (Optional)

Besides advertisements, Most of the PTC websites offer some other ways of income. They offer simple tasks and mini jobs to be completed. Each task or job gives you at least $0.01 and maximum of $1 per task or job. Each job takes at least 5 to 10 minutes to be completed. But I recommend you to stay with advertisements only and make referrals. Because tasks and offers take some time to complete, and for 10 PTC websites, youe working hours goes up to 5 to 6 hours daily and I think you and I don’t want to work 6 hours daily on internet.

Effective Advertising methods for gaining referrals

a. Post you referral link on blogs and forums. Choose those blogs and forums for posting your link that are related to PTC sites or “online jobs” or “work from home”. Add some words to attract the people.

b. Post your link on free classified ad sites in the form of Ad.

c. Spread your link on social media websites like facebook, twitter, Google+ etc.

d. Make a blog or website about PTC sites and put your banner ads on it. The banner ads are provided by the PTC sites. This is an effective way of gaining referrals. Now a days, blog making is not a problem. You can make a free blog on blogger or wordpress and start advertising through it. I am not going in detail of making a blog here. e. Tell your friends about the PTC sites you are working on who are interesting in online jobs.

f. Traffic exchange sites are often proved to be an effective way of gaining referrals.

In Traffic exchange sites, you visit other’s advertisements and get credits for this activity then you can use these earned credits to advertise your referral links or other sites. There are many sites offering traffic exchange services. You can search on google for the traffic exchange websites.

Now it is time to tell you that how to register and work on PTC website

a. First, you need to register yourself on the PTC website

b. After Registration Log in to your account you will see a new window that will show the detail of your account.

c. On the upper side you will see a category with the name of view ads or surf ads.

d. Click on the ad category, a new window will appear that will show different ads from different advertiser.

e. Now you need to click on one ad and popup new menu will be open that will show the advertiser website, you will need to wait and see that ad from 10-30 second (Note: Do not open all ads at once).

f. After you have done it, you cannot click them anymore. You must need to wait for 24 hours. Then you can simply just click your ad page again all ads which are available to click for you.

g. Open 1 PTC site at a time. When you visit all the available ads, then sign out and open 2^nd PTC site and so on.

h. Never forget to read the Terms and Conditions for PTC website in which you are registered.
